UDAAN, as the name suggests, is a launch pad for talents to soar high and ideas to get a firm ground. It is with utmost pride that we declare that UDAAN, the B-school fest by Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), will be hosted on the 7th and 8th of November, 2015. The event is a platform where participants from premier business schools have in the past, joined their heads and presented brilliant and awe inspiring ideas to benefit the rural community and the society, the core focus of IRMA and of the nation, in the bigger picture. We stand at a cusp, where the boundaries between people across the world are merging and what we can do together, knows no bounds. There still exists a chasm though, within our nation, where the rural community still faces enormous challenges in becoming a part of the main-stream. Through the years, UDAAN has been an attempt to give shape to all such nascent ideas and present them with an opportunity to take form. Over a span of two days, inquisitive minds brimming with ideas will show case their skills by debating on pressing issues, analysing cases, pitching entrepreneurship ideas and laying out entire business plans. We hereby invite you to be a part of this exhilarating fest.
